iOS app developers in Romania

In shortWeDevelop is a Romanian software company whose developers build and take over native iOS apps in Swift and SwiftUI and prepare them for App Review from the first sprint. It suits iPhone and iPad products where polish, privacy or Apple-only features matter, such as customer apps, clinical tools on iPad and internal apps for sales or service teams.

01Is this for you

When you specifically need iOS developers

An iOS-focused team makes most sense when the iPhone or iPad is central to the product rather than an extra platform to tick off. These are the usual signs.

  • Your buyers are on iPhone, and how polished the app feels affects whether they trust you with their money.
  • The iPad is the device on the desk, for example in a clinic, a showroom or a B2B sales meeting.
  • You need Apple features such as HealthKit, Apple Pay, widgets, Live Activities or App Clips.
  • Your app has been rejected more than once, and you cannot tell what App Review wants.
  • You have an existing iOS app that has not shipped in a long time and now needs SDK updates.

02What you get

What a dedicated iOS team takes care of

On this platform the review process and the privacy rules shape the product as much as the code does, so they are planned from the beginning.

A Swift codebase

SwiftUI for most screens, UIKit where it still does the job better, automated tests and offline persistence where needed.

A review-risk check

Payment routing, account deletion, sign-in options and minimum functionality, compared with your business model before design begins.

Accurate privacy declarations

Nutrition labels and required-reason APIs based on what the app and its SDKs really send, rather than on guesses.

Audit of an existing app

Swift and dependency versions, deployment target, certificates, privacy declarations and crash rate, with a plan for what comes first.

03Which option

SwiftUI, UIKit, cross-platform or a web wrapper

For iOS the build approach affects not only cost but also how Apple treats the app and how quickly you can adopt new features. These are the real choices.

ApproachBest whenTrade-off
SwiftUI first, UIKit where neededA new native app where interface quality or Apple features are part of the product. No code shared with Android, and the newest SwiftUI features require recent iOS versions.
Keep UIKit and migrate graduallyAn existing app works well, and a rewrite would stop feature work for too long. Two interface styles coexist for a while, and the team has to keep both in order.
React Native or FlutterThe same app with a largely standard interface goes to Android as well.New Apple features arrive later, and widgets or Live Activities still need Swift.
Website in an app wrapperRarely a good route, and only when real native value is added on top, such as offline access or push.A high risk of rejection under guideline 4.2, which covers apps offering little beyond a browser.

If review risk is high because your value lives on the web, we will raise it before anything is built, as it can decide whether the project should be an app at all.

04Cost

What decides the cost of an iOS app

We do not publish a price per app, because it depends on the interface and the Apple features you rely on. These factors are the ones specific to iOS.

FactorWhy it matters
Interface depthCustom transitions, Dynamic Type, dark mode and accessibility are expected on iOS and take time to do properly.
iPhone, iPad or bothA real iPad layout with Split View is additional design and testing, not just a stretched phone screen.
PurchasesStoreKit subscriptions, restore flows and receipt validation are needed when you sell digital goods, and they affect your margin.
Apple featuresWidgets, Live Activities, App Clips and HealthKit are each separate pieces of work with their own review considerations.
Data and privacySensitive data, third-party SDKs and tracking permission all add work to the audit and declarations.
State of an existing appAn app that has not shipped in a year usually needs SDK and API updates before features are realistic.

Separately budget for the paid Apple Developer Program membership, which renews every year, and for the update work that each new iOS version may bring. Both are small next to the risk of letting the app fall behind.

05How to start

How an iOS project starts

01day one

Settle the basics

iPhone, iPad or both, who holds the Apple Developer account, and whether the app involves paid digital content.

02before design

Check review risks

We compare your idea with the guidelines most likely to cause trouble, and we say so if something needs to change.

03two-week sprints

Build through TestFlight

Two-week sprints, with builds on real iPhones and iPads, so that stakeholders try the actual app early.

04about a week for a first submission

Submit and release

A working demo account, notes for the reviewer, accurate privacy answers and then a phased release that can be paused.

What to include in your request

A short note about your business model is especially useful, because on iOS the way you charge can change what has to be built.

  • The device mix: iPhone only, iPad only or both.
  • Whether you already have an Apple Developer account in your company name.
  • How the app makes money, and whether it sells anything digital.
  • Integrations and how sensitive the data is.
  • Brand assets, any existing design and, for an existing app, its rejection history.

07Questions

Questions buyers ask about iOS developers

How much does an iOS app cost?

It is quoted after scoping, because the price depends on interface depth, iPad support, purchases and the Apple features involved. Add your business model to the first message, since in-app selling on iOS can change both the build and the revenue you keep from each sale.

How long does it take to get an iOS app on the App Store?

Once the build is ready, plan on about a week for a first submission, including the listing, privacy declarations and review. Later reviews often take one to three days, while the time needed to build the app itself depends on its scope and is agreed in the plan.

Who should own the Apple Developer account?

Your company should, so that the app listing and its history never depend on a supplier. We work in the account under an agreed level of access, and a Mac is not something you need to buy, because the build machines are on our side.

Do we have to use Apple in-app purchase?

You generally do for digital goods and subscriptions used inside the app, and you must not for physical goods or services used outside it. Rules on linking to outside payment vary by region and have been changing, so we check the current position for your markets early.

Can you fix an app that App Review keeps rejecting?

Yes, and most rejections point to something specific that can be resolved. We read the reviewer notes in Resolution Center, check the app against the cited guideline and decide whether it needs a clarification or a change, then resubmit with notes and evidence for the reviewer.

Can you turn our website into an iPhone app?

Only with care, because a plain wrapper around a website is likely to be rejected for offering too little. The app has to add something real, such as offline access, push or hardware use, and if it cannot, a good mobile site is probably the better investment.
