1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let the site remember something between pages or visits — a language, a login, a preference. Similar technologies include local storage and tracking pixels. This policy explains exactly what wedevelop.ro uses, and why you will not see a cookie banner here.
2. The cookies this site uses
The public website sets one cookie:

The cookie contains only the two-letter language code. It holds no identifier, is not shared with anyone and cannot be used to recognise or track you across websites.
The site does not use local storage or session storage for visitors, does not load third-party scripts, and sets no analytics, advertising, social-media or A/B-testing cookies. Fonts, photographs, icons and 3D graphics are served from our own domain, so no external provider sees your visit.
Administration area. The content management system at /admin, used only by our staff, sets its own session cookies for authentication. They are never set for visitors to the public site.
3. Why there is no cookie banner
Under Romanian Law no. 506/2004 (implementing the ePrivacy Directive) and the GDPR, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary to provide a service the user has asked for. A cookie that only remembers the language you selected is exempt from consent. Because that is the only cookie we set, we do not ask you to accept anything. If we ever add cookies that need consent — for instance analytics — we will show a consent request before they are set and update this policy first.
4. How to control cookies
You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking the language cookie does not break the site; you will simply need to choose your language again on the next visit. Instructions for common browsers:

The language cookie is not personal data on its own. The way we process the personal data you give us through the enquiry form, and the server logs, is described in our Privacy Policy.
