Certified commerce engineering

Magento 2 built by certified engineers, not by plugin roulette.

We have shipped Magento since the 1.x days and hold Adobe Commerce certification. That means clean module architecture instead of core hacks, upgrade paths that survive quarterly releases, and stores that stay fast while the catalogue grows past a hundred thousand SKUs.

01Capabilities

01

Certified, upgrade-safe builds

Every customisation lives in its own module with dependency injection and plugins — never a patched core file. Upgrades become a planned afternoon, not a rebuild.

02

Replatforming without losing rankings

Magento 1 → 2, WooCommerce → Magento, or Shopify → Adobe Commerce, with a full URL map, 301 chain audit and structured-data parity so organic traffic survives the switch.

03

Serious B2B commerce

Company accounts, requisition lists, negotiable quotes, tiered and contract pricing, credit limits, and per-customer catalogues driven straight from your ERP.

04

Core Web Vitals that pass

Hyvä or a headless Next.js storefront, Varnish full-page cache, image pipelines and critical CSS — we tune until the field data in Search Console goes green.

02Scope

  • Store performance and Core Web Vitals audits

03Why it matters

Most Magento problems are architecture problems

When a Magento store gets slow, unstable or impossible to upgrade, the cause is almost never Magento. It is fifteen overlapping extensions, a theme that overrides core templates, and business logic sitting in observers nobody documented.

We start every engagement with a technical audit: module conflicts, database bloat, indexer behaviour, cache hit ratios, third-party call latency and the real cost of each page render. You get a written findings document with a prioritised plan — quick wins first, structural work scheduled — before anyone writes code.

From there we work in the way Adobe intends: custom logic in isolated modules, service contracts instead of direct model access, asynchronous queues for anything slow, and a staging environment that mirrors production down to the Varnish configuration. The result is a store your team can extend for years without dreading the next release.

04How we work

From audit to a store that scales

011–2 weeks

Technical audit

Codebase, extensions, database, indexers, caching and infrastructure reviewed against Adobe best practice. Delivered as a written report with severity ratings.

021 week

Architecture & roadmap

Module plan, data model, integration contracts and the release sequence. We agree what ships first and what it is measured against.

03ongoing

Build in sprints

Two-week sprints on a staging environment, with automated tests around checkout, pricing and integrations. You review working software, not slide decks.

04continuous

Launch & aftercare

Load-tested go-live, monitored rollout, then a support SLA covering security patches, quarterly upgrades and conversion work.

05Questions

Frequently asked questions

Are you actually Adobe Commerce certified?

Yes. Our senior Magento engineers hold Adobe Commerce Developer certification, and we work to the same architecture standards Adobe reviews against — modules over core edits, service contracts, and upgrade-compatible customisation. We are happy to walk you through the code of a previous build before you commit.

How long does a Magento 1 to Magento 2 migration take?

For a mid-sized catalogue with a handful of integrations, plan on three to five months end to end: audit and data mapping, theme rebuild, integration work, then a migration rehearsal before the real cut-over. Very large B2B catalogues with ERP-driven pricing typically run six to nine months. We give you a fixed-scope estimate after the audit rather than a guess up front.

Should we go Hyvä or headless with Next.js?

Hyvä is the pragmatic answer for most stores: a huge Core Web Vitals gain, far less JavaScript, and it stays inside the Magento ecosystem so your team keeps working the way they already do. Headless Next.js earns its extra complexity when you need one frontend across several backends, heavy content and commerce blended together, or an app-like experience. We will tell you honestly which one your traffic and team justify.

Can you take over a Magento store built by someone else?

That is a large share of our work. We start with a paid audit so both sides know exactly what we are inheriting, then stabilise: security patches, dependency updates, monitoring and a working staging environment. Only after the store is safe do we start on new features.

Do you handle hosting for Magento?

Yes. We run Magento on Adobe Commerce Cloud and on self-managed Linux infrastructure — Nginx, PHP-FPM, MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Varnish, OpenSearch and RabbitMQ — with automated backups, staging clones and monitoring. Self-hosting on a properly tuned EU server is often a fraction of the cloud cost at the same performance.
