Marketing automation and CRM agency, wired to your real systems
In shortWeDevelop is a Romanian software company that selects and implements CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Klaviyo and Brevo, and connects them to shops and ERP systems. It suits B2B firms losing leads between enquiry and follow-up, and online shops still relying on one-off campaigns. Our own engineers build the integrations, so flows react to real orders, contracts and stock instead of monthly exports.

01Is this for you
When automation and a CRM are the right fix
A new tool only helps when the problem is follow-up, data or visibility. These are the signs that it is.
- Enquiries arrive from forms, calls, fairs and LinkedIn, and some are never followed up.
- Salespeople keep their own spreadsheets, and nobody can see where deals stall.
- Your email list lives in a tool that knows nothing about orders or contracts.
- Abandoned carts, renewals and dormant customers depend on somebody remembering them.
- Your emails reach spam folders, or nobody has ever set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Not a fit yet: the people running sales do not agree on how the process works, or leads are so few that a shared inbox copes. A CRM will not settle either.
02What you get
The four parts of the work
Some companies need all four and some need one. A shop on a working platform often only needs the flows.
Platform choice
A recommendation based on your data volume, integrations and who will use it daily, with licence costs checked against your real contact numbers.
CRM set-up and migration
Pipelines, properties, roles and views, with contact data cleaned and imported from wherever it lives today.
Flows and scoring
Cart, post-purchase and win-back flows for shops. Nurture, quote follow-up and lead scoring you can explain for B2B.
System integration
Connections to the ERP, webshop, helpdesk or phone system, built as software rather than a monthly CSV.
03Which option
HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho, Salesforce, Klaviyo or Brevo
We choose on data volume, integration needs and who will operate the tool every day, not on which vendor pays a partner commission. The table is a starting point, not a verdict.
| Set-up | Fits when | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Klaviyo or Brevo | E-commerce, where flows run from orders, carts and browsing behaviour. | Strong on email and SMS, but no replacement for a pipeline when B2B reps have deals to manage. |
| HubSpot | B2B companies that want marketing and sales data in one place. | Licence cost rises with tiers and contacts, so check the plan against your real list first. |
| Pipedrive plus an email tool | A small sales team that needs a clear pipeline and little administration. | Two tools to keep in sync, with marketing automation mostly living in the second one. |
| Zoho | You want a wide suite of business applications from a single vendor. | So many options invite over-configuration, and adoption depends on keeping the set-up simple. |
| Salesforce | A larger organisation with complex processes and someone to administer the system. | The heaviest to implement and run, and more than most small teams can use. |
The platform matters less than whether people use it. We keep the set-up simple enough to work from a phone, and we train each role on the views it actually needs.
04Cost
What decides the cost of a CRM and automation project
Implementation is priced by how much has to be connected, cleaned and taught. The size of your company matters less than the state of your data.
| Factor | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Systems to connect | An ERP, shop, helpdesk or phone system each needs its own field mapping and error handling, and this is usually the largest variable. |
| Contact data quality | Duplicates and old exports have to be cleaned before migration, and several personal spreadsheets take longer than one list. |
| Sales process complexity | Several pipelines, roles and approval paths mean more configuration and more training. |
| Number of flows | A few essential sequences are a different job from a full lifecycle programme across channels. |
| Channels | WhatsApp and SMS add opt-in rules, templates and message charges from the provider. |
| Licences | Paid directly to the vendor and separate from our work, so count them when comparing platforms. |
We look at the licence plan against your real contact numbers before recommending a platform, because that cost stays long after the implementation is finished.
05How to start
From how you really sell to a system people use
Describe how you really sell
Lead sources and volumes, the steps a deal goes through, where contact data lives, and what has to stay in sync.
Choose the platform
A written recommendation for your process and data, including what we would not buy and why.
Configure and migrate
Pipelines, roles, forms and data import, then the first flows, with consent recorded correctly from the start.
Integrate
ERP, shop and helpdesk connections. The time depends on what those systems expose and who maintains them.
Train and adopt
Each role learns its own views. Usage in the first months decides whether the system pays for itself.
06For an accurate quote
What to include in your CRM request
An honest description of today is more useful than a description of the ideal future.
- Your sales process as it really happens, even in rough notes.
- Lead sources and approximate monthly volumes.
- How many contacts you have, and where they are stored.
- The systems that must stay in sync: ERP, shop, helpdesk, phone.
- How many people will use the system, and in which roles.
- Any platform you already pay for, or have already ruled out.
07Questions
Questions buyers ask about CRM and automation
How much does CRM implementation cost?
It depends mostly on how many systems must be connected, how clean your contact data is and how complex the sales process is, so the estimate follows a short review. Platform licences are paid to the vendor separately and continue after the implementation ends.
How long does it take to set up a CRM?
Configuration and migration usually take a few weeks, followed by an adoption period that decides whether the project pays off. ERP integrations extend that, by an amount that depends on what the other system exposes and who maintains it.
Which CRM is right for a small B2B company in Romania?
HubSpot or Pipedrive with a dedicated email tool is where we usually start the comparison. The choice then turns on who will use it daily, how much marketing you do and which systems it has to reach, so we avoid naming a winner before seeing your process.
Do we need a CRM or just an email marketing tool?
You need a CRM if salespeople manage individual deals, follow up on quotes or share accounts. If orders come through a shop with no sales conversation, a tool such as Klaviyo or Brevo connected to the store may be all you need for now.
Can the CRM connect to our ERP?
Usually yes, and we build that link ourselves. The effort depends on whether your ERP offers an API or only file exports, and on how reliable its data is. Purchase history and contract dates are what make automated messages relevant rather than generic.
Is marketing automation legal under GDPR?
Yes, provided that each contact has a lawful basis on record and can leave easily. We set up consent records, preference centres, suppression lists across tools and retention rules, and your legal adviser should still review the wording and the final data flows.
Will automation increase our sales?
It can recover leads and repeat orders you are losing today, but nobody can honestly name a figure in advance. Results depend on your list, your offer and whether the team uses the system. We report incremental revenue and time to follow-up, so you can judge for yourself.
