Oraș Smart — smart urban furniture catalogue with product configurators
Product platform for a supplier of smart urban furniture — solar benches, smart bins, bus shelters, lighting, bike parking, kiosks and video walls — with configurators for bus stops and benches, a placement planner and quote requests for municipalities and developers.
The challenge
The buyers are town halls, developers and procurement officers, not consumers: they compare specifications, need documentation for a tender and buy by quote, not by cart. The range is wide — dozens of product families from a smart bench to a video wall — and several products are configurable (display, solar module, USB, sensors). The site had to behave like a catalogue and a sales tool at once, and rank for every product category in Romanian.
What we built
A Next.js platform with a deep product catalogue grouped by solution and product family, interactive configurators for the smart bus stop and the smart bench, a placement planner, quote requests tied to the configured product, and structured data on every product page. Content is managed in a headless CMS so new products appear without a deploy.
The outcome
One place where a municipality can explore, configure and request a quote, and where each product category is a landing page search engines can index.
