Lorandka — AV, data & telecommunications contractor
Presentation site for a Division 27 low-voltage contractor in the Washington–Baltimore region: AV systems integration, structured cabling and K-12 education technology, aimed at general contractors, school systems and facility teams.
The challenge
The audience is split: construction project teams who speak in drawings, RFIs and submittals, and owners or school IT departments who need to know a system will be usable after turnover. The site had to address both without becoming a brochure, surface a long list of services (DVLED video walls, sound masking, Q-SYS and Extron platforms, fiber and copper certification, design-assist, commissioning) in a way that is searchable, and load fast on a jobsite phone.
What we built
A single-page React application built with Vite: a service finder that lets a visitor search by room, system or project issue, service pages grouped by what the firm plans, builds and supports, a field-tested “about” narrative, and clear calls to action for a scope review and for W-2 applicants. The contact form posts to a serverless endpoint on AWS instead of a mail script on the web server, so there is nothing to patch on the host. Analytics are limited to Google Analytics 4.
The outcome
A site that reads correctly to both sides of a construction project and gives the sales team one link to send with a bid. The static build deploys to a plain Apache host and needs no runtime to maintain.
